DIGITAL SAT
WHAT IS IT?
The SAT is a globally recognized standardized test that measures a student’s academic abilities and is essential for admission to universities in the US as well as to some European institutions, such as Bocconi University. Developed and administered by the College Board, the SAT is a multiple-choice exam that plays a key role in the application process.
SAT scores are a crucial component of the admissions decision, and they are carefully considered alongside academic transcripts, letters of recommendation from teachers or mentors, extracurricular activities, admissions interviews, and personal essays.
Since March 2023, the SAT has been offered in a fully digital format for international students, supporting a more equitable testing experience. The exam can be taken on a computer at a testing center or on a previously approved student’s personal laptop at the testing center, providing greater flexibility and accessibility.
